Funny how a change in color can change the mood. This is the same swelling and contracting sythethic material that we used on the Dark Matter planter (see the Projects tab), but where that earlier model was quite sinister, this version seems to call out for veneration.

Who are we?
We live in the trees outside of Washington, DC. We design and make the things you see on this site. We start with shapes and textures pulled from pre-landfill leftovers, apply humble hardware store supplies adapted to unintended purposes, and create new, beautiful and useful things.
